Slimed! I believe you know what I meant. Just another generalization. I was able to show derision to both coasts in one sentence FTW.

Jduc, I'm from the Rockford, IL area. How far east are you? Anywhere near Dubuque? Have you ever ridden out near galena along the Mississippi river? I've heard there are some awesome rides out that way.

Davenport, Yes there are great roads over buy Galena and savannah especially. The very best around here is north of Dubuque towards ball town and up into Minnesota/Wisconsin. Its a long ride but worth it, you just have to wait till about april or may otherwise there is too much sand on the roads that haven't been wash off by rain.

Nice! I'm still new to riding, I had a 2004 cbr1000rr for my first bike last season to learn on, and I wanted to go on some rides in that area but never got around to it! I'll definitely have to head out that way this spring/early summer! I'll shoot you a message on here and see if you'd want to get together for a ride! It may have to be a little bit more laid back pace though as I'm still a noob skill wise haha, not sure if that's a deal breaker or not. It'd be cool to get together with another panigale owner though, as I haven't seen any in my area either.

Yea defiantly we should set something up for this spring.

I'm getting the feeling that I was correct in thinking there is no one else on this forum that currently lives in Iowa.

Or you could plan on packing up that Pani and come down to Deal's Gap sometime this spring and ride with some of us "east coasters". We're friendly - despite what some naysayers here may say

There's been talk of a spring get together at the Gap for Panigale owners for a few days just like last October when 6-7 of us met up there.

Very odd you bring that up, My wife who came here for college is from Louisville, Kentucky and recently found out she has family in the Johnston tri city area about an hr north of the deals gap road. I have been trying to convince her to wait till spring to visit so I can ride that road a few times while were there. If you figure out a date you will all be there I will attempt to make it work In our trip time frame. Thanks

Don't diss my state bitches!

I'm in CR mang. There's also a Ducati Club in Iowa. But most of them are in DM and I already hate driving and/or riding a 4 hour round trip for any type of service so I didn't join the club.

I always thought I was in the center of the universe with he only 1199 in eastern Iowa lol!

Me and a friend ride religiously during the in season and have a few people who join us. We do ride northeast quite a bit on the scenic roads and up through Wisconsin mostly to New Glarus. We're planning on riding to Road America again this year.

If you'd like to meet up let me know. Once it gets to consistent 30^F or 40^F we usually like to start riding. This winter is total balls though.

I have emailed the ducati club of Iowa and get no response I think its a very loose organization and not well established. I want one of their shirts though they look cool.

Ok... I'll Fess up to it, I'm from Des Moines. I live about a mile from Moto Sports. Glad to see good Midwestern values and Ducati go together!
