Nicky Hayden - 69 logo (from front of bike)

I recall one of the members wanted a picture of the front of Hayden's new bike with the new 69 logo that matches the helmet.

So here you go ..

Not particularly thrilling for the average person, but here's a shot inside the Ducati garage at Laguna of Hayden's personal area. Pics facing the opposite direction (four bikes, no fairings) were, of course, not permitted.

Thanks from CaliDuc and Cobra700

I think that's what that coffee pot lookin'-thing is for. (Just a guess, though).

I thought it was cool to see the track map--an indicator (to me at least) of just how much focus he still has and how much desire to win still. Anyone who would study a track map after years of riding at Laguna (including after having won here) has to be possessed with trying to find any and every possible way to shave hundredths of a second wherever he can. Gotta respect that.

Ahhh...on closer examination, that's not a track map, that's a data acquisition map of Nicky at Laguna. COOL!

AntiHero, Thanks very much for sharing this photo. It is very cool. Did you take this before or after the races ? I left early on the Sunday so I could get a quick getaway.

Personally, I feel that Hayden has demonstrated humbleness in victory and gracefulness in defeat, which I personally consider to be the hallmark of a true sportsman. He gave his best at Leguna and I was pleased that he lead the Ducati results. With all things considered he did have a good run and I admire that he did not bitch about the tools that he was given.

It has been a tough few years for true Ducati fans and the facts would suggest that the Ducati GP bikes are purely not competitive against the other brands. The other brands have clearly earned their right to be on the podium and I look forward to seeing Ducati modify the bikes to become much more competitive - which is the nature of the Ducati brand.

There is a lot talk in the industry ( and I am not in the industry I am simply a fan ) about Ducati moving towards smaller engine sizes for the post Panigale generation of bikes. Lot of talk about single engines, etc.

Either way, I love all Ducati bikes and will stick by them through the rough period of MotoGP.
