down

Riding the Rumorosa (stretch between Tijuana and Mexicali, Mexico), on the last turn before the stretch, bike goes down under me. No injuries, got right up after the fall. Bike's messed up on one side obviously. I did get it on video courtesy of my friends RSV4 (link below).
Still not sure what happened, I'm fairly certain I slid on either diesel or oil or some fluid, this road specifically is known for diesel spills, but still not sure. Tires where in decent condition.
I didn't even notice when I lost the rear (front tire seems to have gone without hesitation as well), I just remember suddenly sliding on the pavement, bike wasn't leaned over much when it happened, the TC was on ( I think 4) and even so, I don't remember cracking the throttle before it happened.
Seems like the ideal spot to have gone down (except for the bus in back of me), just hit the dirt, but still a bummer.

Riding roads is dangerous, careful out there.

Link to the video:

Obviously happens towards the end.
I put some somber drone music because as we all know, gopro sound is crap.

Wasn't braking at all, I do remember being on the throttle, but not cracking it wide open.

It seems the front washed out, what would cause this?

I Ride: "I woke up in a new Ducati..."
I just came back from a cross country trip from Atlanta to LA and riding the roads saw small patches of sand where I feared going down. Do you think it could of been a small patch of dirt/sand? Glad your okay and hope nothing serious happened to the Pani.

Wow, that stuff worries me when I'm out riding alone all the time, the random WTF dump with no real reason. Hence, chickenstrips.

That road specifically is a one way toll road, not allot of traffic, no on coming, and no cops, so we take it as conditions permit. Not something we do elsewhere.
