I know you mentioned that you didn't want to purchase a Pitbull front stand, but considering you most likely have a lot of adjustments coming in the near future to get the fork set up correct, many of which will require the front end be suspended, a front end lift that suspends via the triple clamp seems to be in order. You just spent a small fortune (I see the forks run $2300), so another $250 for the stand isn't that much, and one tip over of the bike will have you beating yourself up over not doing it. When it comes time to change front tires, or to set the fork sag, it is invaluable. I use mine all the time, and even when I am not servicing the front end, the bike looks cool sitting up on the front and rear Pitbull stands - very racy like.

Didn't you get any documentation with the forks? This should give you the standard setup. I guess front height should be 196mm from lower triple clamp to bottom of outher pipe. But better get the original documentation.

This is the perfect stand for the Panigale. I use it when racing and it is the most stable solution there is for a bike without a pinhole in the 3-clamp.

I will be interested in your ride/handling comparison on the forks over the stock ones. Nice practical solution on the stand, didn't have to waste any money on that.
