Why? From the sounds of it you came out unscathed, thankfully. Do the risks outweigh the benefits? Are you a husband, father, and provider? Is it the financial loss of your track bike? I don't question your decision, but I'm always interested to hear what factors influence a riders decision to quit doing what they love as I fear one day I will be faced with the same choice. For what it's worth I'm sorry as I'm sure the realization of priorities and subsequent consequences is a greater emotional and mental burden than the wreck itself.

Should you hang up the boots (hope not), pick up one of these http://o.aolcdn.com/dims-shared/dims...z06-rear-1.jpg

Glad you're okay.

Thanks guys . I am not going to give up bikes all together just racing .
I don't think I can push myself with risk of injury anymore . I have two high speed offs recently and don't care for another to be honest .
Thanks from TwiztedRabbit

Very happy you are okay, can understand getting out of racing. On that note, are you running with TC?
Thanks from wilkson

Glad your ok. High sides, especially high speed high sides suck!

Give it a few months before you decide. I ate it really bad many years ago (high side), and I stopped playing on the track. It took 7 years before I road on the track again, and I regret it.

I've once again taken a break (move, job change), but I'll be back out there soon. Give it some time Brother.
Thanks from wilkson
