Installing termignoni full system on my tricolore

picture updated below

Installing termignoni full system on my tricolore-image.jpgI acquired a brand new termignoni full system that came with the Panigale R (brand new, for a really good price) . I will be installing the system on my tricolore today. Wish me luck!

Tip

get a dremel and bevel the male sections where they slip together.

I found the directions to be a bit off. I found it easier to leave the front manifold off until the last

This install is definitely not easy... Should be done today though, i took lots of pics i will be uploading. Oh and the stock exhaust is 22lbs vs the termis 18lbs . I would have thought the termis would be lighter.

Yup and that weight is the difference in cans, since the headers are pretty much the same, save the weight of the butterfly assembly

So how did the installation go?

Did the directions work for you?

Did you think the whole package aligned right?

Or did you have to bend a few things here and there?

Anything you would change if you had to do it again?

Full system is 2.5kg lighter than street system. Pull off actuator and cable for butterfly valve, and don't run quiet inserts and you've got even more weight reduction and added simplicity. Oh, and when riding your bike sounds like the in car audio from a NASCAR short track race; amazing! And yes, the bike needs to be significantly torn down for the install...

I will be posting pictures tomorrow, it took awhile, everything fit correctly, actually the pipes slipped together pretty easily, the tricky part is the front pipe that bolts to the head and the heat shield was a pain. I did not remove my rear subframe, i just lifted it up.
Thanks from Thamer
