What are your dyno numbers?

I had my 2012 pani s dyno'd and had a rexxer tune put on it last week, the results were disappointing to say the least, what numbers are you guys seeing with similar mods or even stock for that matter?

I only have termi slipons, mwr and the driven block off plates.
base run was 158 hp
with tune it was 164 hp
does this seem low????

dyno numbers are relative, depending a lot on pressure/altitude, and temperature, on dyno model, your type or rear tire, forced air, etc.

also, did you unhook the rear wheel sensor and set all modes to zero?

i've seen numbers rather going towards the 170s at the rear wheel, but as said, different conditions even on the same dyno during one day....

all dynos are different.

Some read high and some read low.

The real benefit is tuning to raise numbers from the base tune.

Its not very decent way just to check overall HP

The dyno runs I made, was with the speedsensor still connected. What is the shortcomming regarding this ?

Power and torque seems normal

As was said, dyno comparisons are only valid if done by same dyno, same operator, same day.

That said, I have similar mods: Termi Slips, Termi Slip Up-Map, MWR HE filter. I dyno'd at 179 rwhp and only 4.25 down of a 2014 BMW HP4 Competition Pack with 2,000 miles on it the same evening. Rear-wheel speed sensor was removed from mount for the run.

Same dyno/operator, different day (but similar conditions), and 2 other base 1199s - 1 bone stock, the other with MWR HE filter only - put down 169 and 170 rwhp, respectively. I was pleased with the results.

Doug Lofgrin was able to use my R as test bike back in Aug as a tune. I am unable to download the maps to this site but can give the outcome...

Before Tune, 179 whp (verbally given).. After Tune, 185.05 whp and 92.09 torque...

The Dyno is a - Dyna Pro Dynamometer. Conditions - Air Temp 81.9, Air Press 28.9, Humidity 37.9, SAEJ1349 C/F1.037

I believe Ray on this forum was able to get a 189 whp on his Tri the following week.... The difference from the 2 days was his run was cooler and less humidity.

I am updating the R with MWR Air Filter and possible Akra pipe and having it tuned this April.. I am hoping to increase those past gains....

While all Dyno's may read different due to many variables, your numbers do seem low.. I had a custom tune on my old 12' 1199s and was able to hit 185.33 whp on same same brand dyno with the only difference being 19.7% humidity and 82.6 temp.
