So while in Spain....

So while in Spain on my way to Jerez I went past ducati in Madrid. fuck! Basically an 899 in Spain is more expensive than an 1199s is in the States. When I told the guy I had an R model he shit. There is only one officially sold in Spain and two in Portugal. Then he broke down the whole bike ownership deal in Spain and licensing and what not. Then I asked if he sold any bikes at all...lol. He sold three monsters that day. BTW the new monster is nicer than I thought it would be...I had an '09 monster S,...this was definitely nicer. I think it will compete with the diavel though.

We are blessed in America!

I just can't square how the hell they produce so many GP champions given the economy and the difficulty in trying to own a bike here.

Will try to get good shots at Jerez and post...kind of pissed they told me yesterday they will not have a paddock walk
Thanks from Phl, zx7md and BAIBAICOP

Welcome to the world of European biking, the UK is no better than Spain a good mate just bought an R and it was nearly twenty seven thousand pounds !!then you have road tax insurance and fuel at over two dollars a litre ??

Regarding the paddock walk same mate and I do a trip to a GP every year, we treat ourselves to VIP village and have always had a paddock walk and a pit lane walk so not sure what is happening at Jerez ? maybe it is just if you have a village ticket !!

We are going to go to Aragon this year but if somebody doesnt start beating MM we may already be watching the 2014 world chamion ? enjoy your GP

You also have better prices for the cars, so... My R had a list price in Switzerland of more than 45000USD, you get it for under 30000USD... See the "problem" for the same model/specifications?

Have a nice day

And for this 45000USD you don't even get the charcoal canister, what a shame

seriously, prices in USA are generally super compared to old Europe!

Now that will be a ride. I miss the European roads. Great roads in Switzerland, and if you can make it into South of France as well. (Route de Napoleon is mint!)
