Yeah, you can create your own gadgets.
And you can use some of the provided gadgets but change the input channel to something that is is not, and edit the labels.
You just need to figure out how to log the data. DDA+ obviously logs some (rpm, throttle, tcs, etc). Not sure how to export the DDA data though.
I am currently trying to create arduino-based suspension travel logger. It would be useful to see any compression/rebound/preload issue.
I asked Dashware if they can overlay the DDA data and sent the file but since then just ... crickets :-(

The DDA data format is wacky, I've sent it to a few of the various electronics companies to see if we could crack it so we can use the data in other applications and everyone has said it's not possible (or rather FEASIBLE).
Thanks from Scorpio66

There are Pro Stock additions to the DDA+ that makes it more useful. It will probably satisfy the outstanding requirements most of us have. B|

At that point just upgrade to the AiM Evo4 or Solo-DL and you can do WAY more than the DDA is capable of for $699 vs. $600. Only downside is you don't get lap times on the stock dash like you do with the DDA, but on the plus side the timer is removable from the bike so you can use it on multiple bikes of any make, and also in a car.

Do you know which model Shorai it is?

Thanks and sorry for the thread derailment.

DDA comes with my SL. Once I get my hands on it and have some time to spare I will be attempted to reverse engineer their protocol and figure out what's what. I'll post notes in a new thread and if I'm successful release an open source tool (or provide an online utility).

I figure it will be a good project for rainy weekends.
Thanks from Phl, pedrin and Pilot
