Rider Settings: Hi-Lo / Anti-wheelie / Anti-stoppie
 
I can't seem to find a definitive straight answer to any of these. I'm hoping the following have been settled? Please correct me if I'm wrong.

(1) 195Hi offers "full" power at any throttle twist angle, whereas 195Lo offers a muted amount (70%?) at anything other than wide open throttle.

(2) ABS offers rear-wheel lift suppression at levels 2 and 3 (i.e., no stoppies at such settings).

(3) TC prevents wheelies at [a certain setting that I've not been able to determine and am too chicken to test].

How'd I do?

TC pretty much halts you when it detects wheel spin.A yellow light will come on in the middle of the gauges.It still does not prevent wheelies 100% but it does aid a lot.

The bike can still do stoppies and wheelies.

Any wheelie control effect provided by DTC on any panigale other than the Superleggera is purely incidental, there is no programmed function for wheelie control with the standard DTC.

195 Hi seems to have crisper throttle response. Easier to blip on down shifts. 195 Lo seems useless to me. Not sure where it's exactly the best option. I use 120 on group rides or in the rain.

The traction controls wheelie kill is just a side effect. But when I get the stupid and pop the clutch too hard in higher levels of DTC, it does kick in when the bike hops a little. I think. Maybe I spun a little on accident???

The anti-stoppie is pure sex. I think. I'm still a newb but, does the ABS feel like a noisy rotor? I feel a buzz though the bars a little. And there has been a few times I was expecting the rear to come up at low speeds.

I love all the adjustments. I do think it makes the bike safer/easier to ride. The other bikes I've ridden were much less forgiving.

Anti Stoppie, thats a new one. Never heard that phrase. Turn ABS off and you will get anti stoppie pretty quick I think.

195 Lo is great for the track. Makes maintenance throttle easier. Still get full power if you twist all the way!

195 Hi forever! Crisp throttle, nice pick-up, no complaints!

ABS 1 is front only, no rear wheel lift prevention.

ABS2 is front and rear, generates pressure on both wheels, allows some rear wheel lift.

ABS2 is front and rear and controls most rear wheel lifts.

Thanks, all. The bike never claimed to have anti wheelie / anti rear lift technology, but I was hearing a lot about it. Internet apocryphal stories, apparently :)

From what i understand from the Hi/Lo setting it is throttle response. i am not sure regarding the 70% power, as i run my bike is 195Lo at the drags and it always feels like i am getting 100% of the power just the response is slightly dull down. i find running in 195Lo better for the street as the bike is more controllable

TC is traction control and doesn't stop wheelies, i can lift the front wheel with TC of setting 5. TC engages when it detected the rear wheel losing traction and cuts the power to the bike (yellow light will flash on the dash when it happens)

ABS at 2/3 is engage on both the front and rear brakes, while 1 is only the front. it will just stop the bike locking up when braking.
