Quadrupool

Had you done a reflash on the new maps for the EMS? i was flirting with the idea to go for 14T sprocket, but after the new maps update, i felt that there is better torque and drivability then before and put this 14T conversion on-hold.
Currently with full termignoni not sure if you are, but base maps update is for stock exhasut too. This is my personal first impression only.

It'll be easier to handle with shorter gearing. A toppy motor is harder to feel than a torquey one and shorter gearing will fix some but not all of it. Let's say it's the poor man's engine mod.....

-1 on my Multistrada, 1199 and S1000RR. Cheapo seat of the pants performance upgrade!

Friends don't let friends ride with tall gearing.

I did it mainly because of the problems at low end that was fixed by the upmap. Now with the upmap, I have to mount lead weights on the handle bar to keep the front end down!

With a 14 t sprocket, doesn't the chain rub on the swingarm from the decreased pitch ?

I was trying to find a 14t sprocket and no one has one. When I called the the dealer he mentioned that the 14t sprocket will chew through the slider and eat the swingarm because of the decreased pitch ?

That's crazy! It is working fine, and I am not th only one that did this. I got the whole AFAM aloy kit, and along with the 520 chain, took off alomost 7lbs!

Try Motowheels or here:

That dealer is wrong. AMS Dallas Ducati recommended and installed a 14 tooth on my 2012 and my 2013 MTS as well as my 1199.
