It's highly unlikely that water would find it's way in as you've outlined.

A pressure washer directed at the leaking point would quite possibly push water past the gasket.

this is just a guess, but......"rocker cover" as in valve cover...? - if yes, then it is probably clean/clear/fresh oil you are looking at, and not water....the only water from the engine you might see is coolant, and it is red/pink in color

Dump your oil. If it's good then you're fine.

Your PCV breather might have a little white wet oil goo in it. A little is OK, a ton is signs of water in the engine, or excess condensation (operator error usually).

No, I can't see water or anything in sight glass except oil. I was just wondering if any could of got in during a wash. Just used a sponge and hose, and I have a valve cover leak yes, well not a leak, more of a weep.

..of course you are the one looking at it, so you are the one to know if it is water or not....but i suspect you are looking at clean fresh oil, as the valve cover gaskets can easily weep some oil if not properly tightened (and it has been a known repair needed on more than a few 1199's)

Sounds like you're all good to go.

Don't worry about it

Sometimes you can get some condensation showing in the sight glass when doing short trips in the winter time.

Where is the leak?
Is it at the rear "D" on the vertical cylinder?

Mine has had the exact same thing there for the last 2000-3000 k's or so.
Absolutely no problems with water in the oil here and i wash my bike the same way.
Too many short trips (less than 16 Kms) will load the water content of your oil up, much more than anything else in a very short time.
Provided there's no head gasket leak of course

Consider this.
For water to push past/under and around the gasket when washing.
The oil first has to be displaced from the joint.

As i said in my earlier post, your would have to blast water directly at the leak point with a pressure washer.

Enjoy
