sorry, was having a senior moment and glazed over previous reply. Is the mapping for an 's' the same irrespective of the current ECU mapping.
(Mine has full termi system and Racing Evo map).

Also on the 1299 system the DQS wont allow you to go clutchlessly down the box under 10,000rpm. Does the Blip Box have the same kind of limitations/nuances ?

thanks J

The maps for the 899/1199/1199S are the same, 1199R is different, and SL is going to require a new box which is not available yet. Also, if you have a TuneBoy flash in the ECU, that will require a different map on any of those bikes as well. Doesn't matter what fuel mapping is in place or which exhaust.

I have no idea what you're talking about on the 1299 DQS not working under 10k rpm??

Uk press release last month said the 1299 DQS didnt allow clutchless DS under 10k. Given your response I assume BB doesnt have these limitations

That sounds blatantly incorrect. You sure they didn't say *above* 10k?

Why would you you be downshifting in the 10-11k range?

Below 10k. That makes sense. Above 10k makes it virtually useless.

The QS only works for downshifts when you're under 10k. Just to be clear...

So it does. My senior moments are clearly at a peak, I need to get myself checked.

Sorry for cluttering the thread with irrelevant crap

It looks like there's a good chance of having a software upgrade available in the future to add anti-wheelie function to the Blip Box for anyone who has one. The manufacturer is also looking at other possible additions such as more advanced engine brake control, cruise control, etc. Anti-wheelie will be the top priority.
Thanks from Duck41 and kev1199s
