I Ride: 2007 S4RS (sold), 2008 1098S (sold), my wife's 2013 1199R, 2015 KTM RC390
That would be a great deal.
Not sure if I want to get another Ducati after I sell my 1199R even though I love the brand.
DNA is who I really could do without

The 1299 will have so much low end torque, it will be interesting to see how it's viewed after release. Still a beautiful bike

It is a really nice riding bike. Super composed and solid, but very entertaining. It is without a doubt worth a premium over the 13-14 R models. Moral of the story; should have waited and gotten one for $50k.

But let's really be honest. Why would anyone still spend $50,000 or $60,000 when the 2015 R is 99% the same bike for 15-20K less...? Different paint and some carbon fiber.

No matter how much money I rolled in Incoukd never justify $10 or $20K for "exclusivity."

you could have the same argument for the R model V's the base it's 90% of the base model so why pay the premium

it's a great bike and i'm sure you have been enjoying it since you bought it, these bikes are always going to go down in value so there is no surprize there.

Hindsight is easier than foresight. I know how you feel, but don't worry! Keep your SL and wait a couple of years. I'm pretty sure that this bike will be one of the last rare public legal road bikes with 110dB(A) allowed. EU currently plans to change the noise emmision laws for motocycles in 2017 to become very restrictive. We'll see....

I've read numerous articles about that. Many say that sport bikes may be all out banned in EU due to noise restraints. We shall see.
