Weird (awesome) exhaust

I can't find a thread where I saw this pic but I got this from the worldsbk Instagram feed. As soon as I saw it again it stuck me that it looks like a butterfly valve. (Flapper valve). And it looks like there's a servo motor tucked right next to the header.

Thoughts?
Thanks from Phl

Yep an yep

Often used to create back pressure! Not only for noise emissions like on our street bikes.

But that also means they need another one for the other cylinder' s header!

Interesting- also the routing!

Yeah, I guess they needed to add a few bends to get the length they wanted.

This is a pretty insane level of effort to put into waste gasses.

Love the engineering.

Absolutely amazing welds.

Makes the stock system look like it came from a high school shop class.

I actually think they are bungs for oxygen sensors... Just a semi-educated guess.

No, the O2 sensor prongs look way differen.t those ones here look exactly like the ones on the y-pipe where the flapper valve is

That photo was posted last week on new full Akra system, when I first saw this my first guess was form of hi temp Wiggins QD clamp but it's not, still think it's a disconnection point ? Hopefully will receive a an correct answer soon

Yeah, you can see the O2 sensor in the background.
