DIY exhaust core. Any tips?

Just bagged a spare exhaust so I can core it. Any tips before I get stuck in?

Thanks in advance

Take a look at Phil's thread. Thanks to him I had good idea of it when cored mine.
Actually mine is for sale if anyone is interested. I went the full exhaust route at the end.
Thanks from Claymore

I made original exhaust modification to my 899. I wrote from it to my blog, which is in Finnish. Due to the used dialect, it doen't translate too well. But maybe some info: Midlife Playground: Rökäri

Btw, muffler would be available since I bought Akra to my 1299s.

Talk to Phil. He's the exhaust master here. We call him Mr. Core.

My buddy has a pair of cored stock exhaust that he's not using anymore. PM me if interested. He wants to save them, but I think I can talk him into selling.
