Not really it could be higher with those mods. That is for trade then what a dealer could list it for . I'd say halfway for stock on a private sale.

I tell everyone, the mods only help if the person has the extra money, and wants some/any of the mods you have done. Most ppl have the money only for stock used, and then enough each month to put a couple things on. I wouldn't have bought my own bike for over $25K, and I have way more than that into it.

Exactly and having mods pre done can cause someone to walk away from the deal. They may not like the suspension/bodywork/tag elim you did etc. Stock is easiest. Besides you will get more for your mods on the market alone off the bike

Even if i could have gotten my bike exactly how it is now from the dealer for even $5000 less than my total out of pocket at the moment, i still wouldn't have purchased it. For me, the fun is seeing the transformation phases my cars and bikes go through, not the end result. Once the end result is achieved, boredom sets in n gotta find other ways to scratch that itch. Maybe that's just crabs?

I mean it *may* be crabs, OR it could just be that 1299 itch. I hear it's a real bitch.

If it's any help, my local dealer has just offered a 2014 1199S DEMO with 900 miles to me for $18,500 out the door...taxes tag title included. However in a rare and shocking turn of events, he still hasn't sent it to me in writing (asked him to around 1:30 today). $18,500 OTD seems like a great price for an S, but it is a DEMO.
