I saw them on eBay but was under the impression they weren't out yet. I didn't read into the eBay listing too much to tell, but was weary it was some turd labeling them as 1199 levers but weren't actually meant for the 1199. I'm also curious to see how they turn out.

They are the same thing as on the 848/1098/1198... trust me, I transferred mine from my SF...

Only thing you gotta watch for on the clutch side if you have shortys, is you might have to move the whole assembly closer to the grip. The whole MC is sitting on a nipple, I didn't wanna grind it down to move it closer so I shifted it a good 3/4" The reason is because if you don't your finger will keep hitting the highbeam switch when you shift.

I Ride: My 1199s every chance I get
I have a set of these that I took off my 1198s. Collecting dust now as a backup as I didn't like them on the 1199 as much. The master cylinder on the 1199 is a few mm further in than on the 1198, which makes the shorts feel too short for me as I ride wit my hands on the far reaches of the grips.

At the position that I wanted them, they were also very close to fowling on the RBW pickup.

However, if they work for you on the 1199, they are very nice levers.

Yeah I found the clutch side very short that's why I moved the whole master closer to the grip like I mentioned. The brake side is prefect for me.
