Help needed for my Panigale

So I was riding my Panigale 1199 just fine yesterday and today I go to turn it on and it just hissed the whole time. So I used a battery tender thinking the battery was just low and I hook it up today and it still is hissing at me. I know it's not that battery and I got brand new spark plugs put into her like 2 months ago. I have no idea what the problem could be.She just won't start. Any suggestions? Thank you.

The "hissing " is most likely the ventilation on the gas tank with a partially full tank and the hissing you hear is air escaping the tank. This is very common with many bikes. You did not mention if the bike was actually running but I assume you would not hear any hissing with such a loud bike even at idle. Put some fuel in it and/or open the gas cap ans see if it stops hissing

Yeah where is the hissing coming from? does the screen and everything start as normal?

FYI i'm the one that sold you the bike.. Keep in mind guys he made a minor mistake and filled the bike up with way to much oil and fouled the plugs so thats what the new plugs are from- I doubt there is an issue there.

Yes sorry I'm just now seeing this from you guys. But yes. Everything turns on perfectly but when I hit the egnition button it just hisses. Doesn't even turn over just a hissing sound. I got brand new spark plugs put into it and it's not wanting to fire up. I checked the fuses none are blown. But I feel like I haven't checked all of them cause I only checked the ones next to the battery. I also wanted to throw in that before my bike died my screen dash board was flickering off and on while I was riding it. Default battery or what? Help me out community!

this just happened to me on my track bike. a bolt backed out into the fly wheel making the engine not be able to turn over to start. (hopefully i am saying that right)
first i thought it was the battery no
then i thought maybe the stator no
it was something stupid
hopefully for you its something small with the vibration of the bike it could be something similar.

can you turn the engine over by hand?

How do I turn it over by hand? And how do I tell if the regulator rectifier is bad?

No one is going to be able to help based on your description of a "hissing" sound. Its just not descriptive enough for any logical problem solving. Try taking a video or recording and uploading that.

Put the bike in gear and roll it without engaging the clutch. You should feel it turn the engine. May take some effort.

No different than pop starting a car/bike.
