Weekend ride with the new Termi Full System

I finally got my 1199 Base back Sat. from Ducati after Installing the Full Termi system. I was a little disappointed when they forgot to ceramic coat two pieces of the exhaust system, same part but on both sides. When I test drove it; one word came to mind: WOW! I quickly forgot about the non ceramic coated parts. Plus they had already sent the two parts they had in stock to get ceramic coated and it should be at their shop in a couple of days for a swap out.

I test drove my bike all day Sat and Sun with the baffles in and out. OUT is definitely the way to go. It is much louder. The BARK of the Termi with the baffles out is just an amazing sound and the bike runs much smoother than with the baffles in. With the baffles in, it wasnt much louder than the stock except deeper. My impressions of the Full Termi's are.

1. The engine feels un-restricted. You can feel the massive air flow through those huge headers. Compared to the stock headers.
2. More Torque!
3. Way more power! throughout the whole power Band. Low, Mid and High its everywhere.
4. The ceramic coat works as advertised. It reduced the heat about 40-50%. I no longer have to wrap the rear header (outside temp 97F, engine temp 217F through some very slow in town traffic). The header cools down almost instantly. The reduced seat heat and inner thigh heat could be a combination of the engine break in, Cat's removed, Ceramic Coat, Larger Header for more air flow through the pipes and the Carbon fiber heat shield that has ceramic coat underneath.
5. No problems what so ever in the rev range, all though I did feel it with the baffle's in.

Here are some picture I took with my iphone of what I've done to the bike so far and note the part that is not ceramic coated on the silencers. My buddy that holding the bike in the picture of us trying to show the HID's likes the two tone Exhaust. What do you guys think? Na I want it black to match. I didn't get the Ohlins rear shocks/front fork and Rizoma Rear Sets installed yet hopefully next weekend.

your bike looks great so does the coating on your termi system. congrats. Your assessment on the system has me confused. I ask a lot of questions on the full system vs just slips and talk to many people on this site that have a full system and or slips. You and one other are the only ones saying how great a full system is. This has me curious. First I am not saying you are lying at all about your discoveries. As many know I have a friend that works for ducati in KY. He says there are great gains in ceramic coating the pipes. i was laughed at when i said this. The coating doesnt allow the headers to expand under the heat as a regular SS header would. This would help in the performance and i am wondering if this could be the reason why (the other guy on here has his termis ceramic coated too, coincidence?). Also i know ducati is releasing a new up map for the full system but i dont know if that was released yet. Do you know what map you have?

All dyno tests/results, as well as all upmap development by Ducati and others, have been done using a non-coated pipe. So if the coating makes such a big difference, wouldn't the maps be wrong after the pipe is at tempature? And does anyone really know what the coating does to the flow characteristics of a exhaust system? Don't get me wrong, they look great, I am just don't understand how they could have much if any influence on preformance.
