Anyone have issues with tuneboy auto-blip?

Hey guys,

i finally upgraded to the tuneboy auto-blip downshift and i am having some odd issues, every now and then the bike cuts-out while im riding (miss-fire, like the QS is engaging and the ecu is cutting the ignition). When this happens the QS seems to disable itself for around 10-20 seconds and then it starts working again.

So have i have gone on around 6 rides since installing the Tuneboy autoblip and every ride it has done it on average 2 times.

Now i had an issue with my QS before, there was a problem with my wiring harness and the ecu would get a signal that the QS is engaging and i would get major missfire, we ended up re-wiring the QS sensor directly to the ecu and that solve the problem, but for some reason with the tuneboy autoblip it seems to have come back which has got me and my tuner completely stumped as the tuneboy QS plug into the o2 port and doesn't use the stock wiring :/

Has anyone have a similar issue?

Cheers

Try Changing the sensitivity setting.. You may be inadvertently activating the blip or cut

we play around with those setting and made no difference.

We have since disconnected the tuneboy QS and the problem has gone away, looks like it might be a faulty unit

The strain gauge QS is very sensitive, mine would cut out over potholes or kerbs. Make sure to remove the freeplay in your shift linkage, it lessens the chance of involontary movement.

Cheers, linkage is all sorted but we had a play around with the sensitivity levels in the tuneboy setup, it seems that my QS unit may be overly sensitive
