DP Carbon heal guards - how are yours holding up?

I've just fitted a set of DP carbon heal guards because the oem guards are so badly marked up after 7500km. I'm concerned they might get messed up quick by the Sidi boots I wear that have an exposed screw in the heal armour. Anyone riding with Sidi or similar and have the carbon guards - do they still look good or are they scratched to hell?

For MX I love my Sidi's but they are really harsh on the frame. For this reason I went with the Alpinestar Super Techs for the street. The inside,or bike side, of the boot is leather and much gentler on bike's nicely finished bits.

Ye I found I could screw the screw head a bit further in so hopefully should be OK.

Yeah my Sidi"s wrecked the heel guards on my 1098s. Long trip, lots of rain,1200 miles. When I got home it looked like my carbon guards had both been down the road with the bike on top of them, ruined. I use Daytona boots now, much friendlier to my feet and bike.

I'm wearing Dainese boots and have 4400 mi on them and only have some wear on the right side tip of the heel guard. Not too bad it but that side seems to point outward at the tip.
