You can see the Panigale R is much faster. At PI, they couldnt pass the Kawi, even in the draft. Now, Chaz is blowing past the Kawi. Chaz for the double and we need other riders to get in front of Rea.
Thanks from SPJ, wilkson, b9009b and 1 others

I expect Rea will be more worried about Davies than Sykes now.

Do you really think anything Akrapovic and Ducati Corse develop in partnership is an afterthought? Like Akrapovic would really just throw something on a factory bike without some data to back it up?

This isn't really about ultimate power, it's HOW+WHERE the power is delivered. Many hours testing in the dyno cell and on track.
Thanks from Phl

All true but they did say in an iterview that more HP at the top end was a priority.

I just like how it (apparently) simplifies the pipe routing. My biggest question: they've got a flapper valve controlling flow to the left-hand can. I wonder just how complex the algorithm is for opening that. That's when things get stupid expensive - programming and optimising a map for something as simple as one butterfly valve in the exhaust. Tens of thousands of dollars?

the sight of that brought tears of joy to my eyes. Aragon has a very, very long back straight, and the Ducati had at least equal, if not a little more pace, than the Kawasakis. Chaz was on fucking fire; his pace through the corners was insane, no matter what line he chose to take.

If Chaz doesn't take the double, there will be quite a few people who will be shocked.

He was passing in places I didnt think possible. He jut put the bike where he wanted it to go and it was rock solid. So much for the demise of the Panigale. Lets hope he can continue this for the rest of the season. Gigi waving his magic wand......
