Return it for a refund if you can otherwise just Sell it and buy the Ilmberger cover. It is better quality, includes the upper chain guard and is cheaper as well.

Yip, had the same issue... I had to make the holes slightly bigger... round file and a few mm did the trick.... by the way be careful when you place the plastic "bumper" into the slot as it falls out (on the inside) and gets scratched.... happen twice when I was working on it and it was scratched on the raw carbon inside (!@#$%^&).

It does fit with slightly altered holes and a bit of pressure.....

I had the same problem trying to install mine. What really should have been a 10 minute job, took me over 2 1/2 hours and still couldn't get it to fit. The holes under the rear fender were off by about a half inch no matter what I tried. Filing or drilling new holes wouldn't have worked. I'm sending it back.

If anyone put on the Shift-Tech CF can you comment on fit and installation? I'd rather not use Carbonvani since it's high-gloss.

damn, that's some good pricing for the cover.

I had the same issues with it. I got it on but a lot of the holes didn't line-up. My biggest issue was the chain guard because the two holes for that was off, some i'm taking it to the dealer to have them finish the job. It really sucks because if it was molded correctly it should line-up with the screw holes on the bike.

Hmmm... This doesn't sound good for me. I have the CF cover sitting in the garage ready for install but it sounds like a PITA. I might just skip the cover and swap it out for the DP levers.

I agree. I'm just not enamored with it enough to keep trying. Too much carbon fiber on my bike I think anyway... Did I just write that?

No you DIDN'T! The CF police will be looking for you now... Hahaa
But I know what you mean with the rear CF hugger and heel guards already on.

Not sure what I will be missing with the Nylon insert but my cover lined up with zero issues whatsoever. Looks great but also saves that priceless swing arm in the unlikely event of a low side...
