Broken Fairing Mount

Good evening all, just wondering if anyone else has broken a fairing mount, I'll post a couple of photos tomorrow but it is the fairing itself and not the bracket, has cracked and broken at the fairing. I am trying to avoid getting a new piece because of the decals I have on it, and the price obviously, dealer said over 2K from Ducati for a replacement, it is the right side fairing. Just wondering if anyone else has tried plastic welding or another product perhaps, the dealer actually suggested super glue but I think that may be a very poor option, any suggestions are appreciated.

Cheers
JT

Pics

Some pics attached, it is not flapping in the wind or even noticeable, just would be good to be able to fix it with out the cost of a new fairing. Apologies for the blurry second shot but you get the idea, or is that just the beer doing that?

Cheers
JT

The fairings are ABS. Here in the USA, you can buy ABS glue in the plumbing dept. at out home improvement stores.

I've also used this on various tabs and bodywork with great success.

Fiberglass, Plastic Repair

You can do something similar with super glue and baking soda.

That mount is overkill, I wouldn't be concerned. If it was my bike I would break the other one off to match......
