Buying 1199 S

Hello guys

I have a Multistrada DVT S and I am planing now to buy the 1199S that I always liked since new.. the bike I am looking is like brand new with only 1.000kms
What should I check on the bike?
Common issues?
I read about the controls on the left handlebar had some issues on the first bikes 2012..
Anything else to check?
I had before suzuki gsxr1000 from 2011 do you have an idea if the high rev power in the 1199 can be pretty much the same or better? I read some people complaining that the power only comes in very high revs.
Thanks in advance for your advices

I Ride: 1199 Panigale S (2014)

Thank you guys. Yes the bike is all original from 2014.
Is the heat so bad even though riding in Sweden?

I Ride: 1199 Panigale S (2014)
I bought my 1199 S (2014) in September and did only drive 3 days in ~20 degree Celsius. I did not experience any heat issues at those days but it was most open roads driving. I guess heat issues is experienced in city driving or stop and go driving situations. I have bought a new full Termignoni exhaust and will have headers ceramic coated before installing them (just in case needed and possibility to do it inside when headers are new). Further I will have bike mapped and change most of those black plastic parts to carbon…

I Ride: 2015 1299 Panigale
Riding mine every day in Norway, and I find the heat issues greatly exaggerated. 1299 with a full Akrapovic system...
