I have heard some stupid statements made here on the forum but that one is right up there with the best.

Generalisations. The mark of the uneducated.

95% of the mechanics I have used in my 40 years of car and motorcycle ownership have been fine.

I think you must be going to the wrong mechanics.

Go fuck yourself

I've used plenty of mechanics over the years both work and private.

Fitted the exhaust and Rapid Bike Evo to the old girl and fired her up, seems like a completely different bike already. Suspension and all the other bits (in my signature) to go on in the next couple of days, life is good.

So you're going to disassemble the whole bike piece by piece and reassemble it after a thorough inspection of each piece and perhaps replace some of them with better pieces.....and probably the bike won't work when done. Forget warranty help. Now what? It's not just Ducati. I hear ya but we're stuck with trusting them (and the dealerships or shops).
