I agree 100% with all the guys above - twisted, mutt, RB, Double, CarbonDave, etc.

I've owned both and the 15/16R is a much improved piece of kit. Motor feels stronger, but the thing I noticed the most was how much more refined the bike is. More confidence inspiring than the 13/14R which was a handful for me.

Either bike is way more than I could ever want or use or need, but even at 7/10th the newer R was an improvement and worth the $$ if you can swing it.

Merry Xmas guys!!
Thanks from Twistedracer and Wynndi

Ha ha, come on man, you can't blame me....... you asked for my opinion!

But having said that, I'll bet money none of you were disappointed

Excellent choice. Be sure to keep an extra bottle or two of oil around. Check that oil level before every ride no matter how short. Those two ring race pistons let the engine go through a lot of oil. Ducati recommends checking the level every 300 miles. Iíll check it even after a 60 mile coffee run.

I Ride: 15 Pani R ( I weep a little sometimes )
I can only compare the 15R to the 13S and all I can say is that the level of "Refinement" experienced on the 15R is a huge leap, from the quick shift and auto-blipper, to the power curve and handling....like a razor.
Thanks from Wynndi

I Ride: 1199s
I'm having a similar situation. Currently on an 1199s and would like to get another Duc. Wanting to wait for the V4R but I have the chance to get a 2016 R and very tempted to do so. Only thing stopping me is that I have yet to hear anything about the V4R.

I might be opposite of that the rest would do. I purposely got the 2013R why? I love the LED light, I am not fast on track to really feel the difference of the weight savings. Also, I wanted the electronic adjusted suspension, you might ask why? Because I can ride the sport mode on the street and when I get to the track change to race and all my settings that Dave Moss did are easily changed. I am sure you get all the TI valves with 2015+ and for people who actually can feel the difference , great they should go for it. I am personally canít.
