Anyone try Ram gas/fuel tank mount on a Panigale? which size?

Hi,
Does anyone have any experience fitting a gas tank RAM mount on a Panigale? If so, which size did you use? I don't have easy access to mine at the moment, so I can't measure the distance been tank bolts right now.

I've been using a stem mount, but I've had issues with it and even had it pop out on a bumpy city street. It wedged by the fork, blocking and steering to the right and luckily I was going slow enough to pull over and pull it out. I now have it secured with zip ties, but I'd still like a better solution.

Here are direct links to the two sizes that RAM makes. Hopefully one of them fits. I've searched and haven't been able to find info on mounting one to the Panigale.

"small"
https://www.rammount.com/part/RAM-B-410U

(To ensure proper fit use the measuring guide.
Tank bolts distance, for this part will be 3.5")

"Large"
https://www.rammount.com/part/RAM-B-411U

(To ensure proper fit use the measuring guide.
Tank bolts distance, for this part will be 4")

Thanks for any help!

I wouldn't. I would bump it all the time, and it would be in the way on the track. Instead I 3d printed a mount for the stem, with a bold that fixes it in place at the steering damper.

This seems to be a good option:

Thanks for the input guys. I just remembered that it's not even possible with the stock gas cap as it doesn't have exposed bolts to mount through.

I'll look into a couple of the options. I don't have a go pro and I'm just looking to mount my phone for street riding.

I know the topic has been discussed plenty of times for the normal mounts, so I'll look for those threads.

Is there a way to mount a phone to it?
I don't have a go pro, just looking for a good phone mount for street riding.

I don't see why not...this is just a simple mounting plate that attaches to the ignition. With the right hardware and attachments I'm sure you can mount whatever you want.

Yea, you just need this claw thing from RAM to mount to the ball:

Thanks for the help guys.

I bought the key mount one from carbondave and also bought this:

I'll post a pic of the two together when I get them set up.

Thanks,
Constantinos
