I was looking at improving my braking hardware or optimising what i have . My local track is all about braking , 250kmh to 30 then another 250 to about 80 then 180 to 40 all in one minute a lap or less .
I might try a set of M4 callipers off my Bimota matched with the 18-20 rcs . I just ended up with the wrong MC . If the 18 setting isnt much different to a 17 it may not be worth it. ?
I use dual carbon pads which are brilliant if you can keep them hot and working.

i sadly, do no need MORE braking lol I just need a proper brake and the factory brembos do that for me (less the leaking).

I forgot (since i oddly havent had to use it) that I have RPM One extended warranty, I will have to reach out to the dealer and see if they will be able to have this covered. But if i can find a rebuild kit myself, i would go that way also

Anyone done this and can point me where to get the kit, part number etc?

TIA

There is a rebuild kit for the ABS 16mm master brake cilinder.
It comprises the piston with rubber rings, new rubber on the outside and new fixing ring. The replacement set is under warranty available.
I got a rbuild kit from the dealer well outside the warranty for Ä13,50

18-20 is the adjustment span for the distance from the pivot to the piston. The RCS comes in several different piston sizes: 16, 17 and 19 (maybe more?), while all having the aforementioned adjustment. The essential thing about the RCS 17 is the size of the piston which is 17 mm in diameter. This was supposedly designed specifically to work with the smaller pistons in the Brembo M50s.
