Radiator Guard Bolt and Heat Shield Bolts

Hi Guys,

I felt so defeated this weekend... I was trying to install my radiator guard I had purchased for my 1199 Panigale S and the 2.5mm hex screw came out with ease on one side and the other side has been stripped. I tried spraying WD40 on the bolt but no luck any suggestions?

Also, I noted my heat shield was a little bit loose and tried removing the screw heads. Then I thought why would they use screw heads... turns out they were sheet metal screws does anyone have any suggestions or remedies for this?

Thanks for the help!

Same thing happened to me when installing mine. I ended up using a dremmel to cut a notch in the bolt head and used a flat head bit to remove.
