Reduce throttle twist effort?

Hello guys, I was wondering if there's a way to reduce the amount of effort needed to twist the throttle on a 1199 S Tricolore?
Thanks in advance to anyone who might help.

Come on, that was funny. Seriously the torque effort on the ETC on these bikes is pretty effortless but to answer your question, no. The ETC is a sealed calibrated unit. The Jetprime remote ETC gives you a manual throttle that you can alter the cams to get the desired rate however it is still slaved the the stock Ducati ETC so the torque effort will still be consistent. There is an RS throttle but the torque effort is again is the same.

I remember Mr Burns saying "i will crush you like this paper cup". something like that

but, seriously, it may be a problem for a disabled person. i know a guy who has brake and throttle on the left side.

Are you asking how to reduce actual effort or do you mean shortening the twist for full throttle?

IMHO that's a pretty easy throttle. (compared to my grom or dirt bike, or any older cable throttles)

there's a spring in there, lemme see if i find that open throttle assembly i have laying around and i shoot you a pic.

i'd check first if all is clean and it's not the friction that's making it harder to twist.

Seriously though, there is very little effort on the throttle , it is actually very light. Maybe it feels a bit catchy or sticky, which gives poor feel. It is worth cleaning out the throttle tube and bar surface and use a thin smear of silicone lube, i dont use oil as it tends to become sticky .

I don't want to derail the thread but I'm curious about that JetPrime throttle conversion. Anyone using one of those on a track bike to shorten the throttle throw?
