Love my 2013 S with a termi exhaust and upmap. Does everything I need it to, and above expectations. Been the best bike I have owned.

Did you do the whole exhaust or slip-on? After I committed to buying the 1199 S I’m reading the power-curve is not as user friendly as most would like. I’d like to do a pipe and tune if thats all I need to make it bit louder and clean up the map somits more user friendly.

The bike rides perfect and cleans up any riding issues you may have experienced on a base engine. I did the whole exhaust which supplies an upmap that retunes the engine. I ride about A group pace and have never had a single issue in the last 5 years for street use and abuse.

Thatís great to hear. Iíll be honest in saying that this bike is way beyond my riding abilities. Iím going into this solo, I donít have any friends here that ride this kind of bike so itís going to be a new experience all together meeting new people and riding in a way that I havenít in 20 years. Iíll be test riding this bad-boy today or tomorrow probably at a snails pace but Iím a fast learner.

Is there anything I should listen for or look for or look at specifically? Any known issues with these bikes as far as leaks? Thank you again for all your help, this forum has been great so far.

All bikes and brands have issues. The most important thing is that you share your experience with the forum members...

+1 for Bren Tuning. Pretty much fixed everything I didn't like about my 1199. Excellent customer service as well. I would also recommend throttle spacers.

Sooooo, I’m picking it up at 11:00 am tomorrow, the seller didn’t have much time today and I didn’t want to feel rushed so we decided tomorrow is best. I’m going to start another post to inquire about riding gear. I’m fully invested in Klim for snowmobiling but I see there are other brands that seem to be popular. First-hand I’ve found that Klim is the best of the best in the snowmobile world, how do they compare?
