1199r New Parts Track Day Prep!

So ive been on a parts purchsing/track crack bemge getting ready for the new season.

Last season I traded my 959 in for a brand new leftover 1199r, yes a virgin!

Last Friday I started out with planning out my tires for the season. I found a Supercorsa SP in northern Scotland for $242. With only 500 miles on the new bike I should get 8 track days out of the two tires I have as the front wears out. So as some of you have seen ive been itching at the new Supercorsa TD. Today I ordered two rears and a front through my local Pirelli trackside dealer. I should be set for most of the season with 4 rears and two fronts. I might need one rear tire and a front.

I then said eh, what about rear sets. So I called my dealer (I say it like its my drug dealer, may as well be as all my money seems to go to them) I picked up Woodcraft rear sets. Several hours pass and I called back like an addict and perceeded to buy Woodcraft clutch cover, bar ends, lever guards and axle sliders.

Welp, I think I am done for a while, anticipating the parts to arrive so I can protect my new baby for it's first track day on May 17th!

Its a 15. Thank you, I track both my bikes. The 15 will see the load of the weight. I do 15-20 days a season. They are in their true environment on the track

I took both my PaniR and Anniversario 1299s out on the track back to back. The PaniR was instantly at home on the track. I found the Anniversario was a better fit for the street for me. It all came down to the difference in the way each engine put the power down.
Enjoy, Iím sure you will and congratulations again.

Thank you. The Final Edition saw some track time last season. Being the R chasis w the Superlegera engine if felt so much more at home on tge track than my 959. Thus why I traded in my 959 for the 1199r
Thanks from Twistedracer
