Akra Question

I have a 2014 Pani with the full Akra system from a Pani R. As such, it has the non-removable baffles/DB killers.

I was curious, if I bought another pair of Akri slip ons with removable baffles/DB killers, would they simply bolt up to the existing Akra headers?

I Ride: 16R; 18 R1M
What you have is the Akra homologation exhaust with the cats in them from the R.
You’ll need the Akra R race exhaust which will come with the race silencers and the Y pipe that gets rid of the flapper valve.

I did a little digging on the forum and apparently you buy Akra slip ons for a Pani R and it comes with a Y pipe so that can be bolted up. But I'm not sure if this is for a different year Pani. Still new to this bike, I have a lot to learn. Although I do like the idea of sending the pipes down to Phil in SC for him to gut them.

Yes you need the Panigale R specific Race Cans (kit includes the Y pipe without the flapper and the Akra map). Any other Akra cans from the EVO kit or the 1299 kit will not fit the stock Panigale R system. The included map is specifically for the Panigale R.
