should i or not? - Windscreen DP

so heres the go

i geting my bike geting fixed front cowl
so they have to rip the whole front and put it back together
i was asked weather i wanted any extras while i had it broken apart

i decided to get the DP carbon key and air vents.

whoever im lost with the DP windscreen? should i or not get one?

price AUS $180 fitted
no point thinking of other brand cause it be 120 + installing

i looked at other post and dont know if the look wins me over
the tint is barely nothing but still a PLUS
cant fold the mirrors
abit of wind protection

for those that own this screen or a race screen please tell me your thoughts.

I've got one, recommended. If you have to fold the mirrors then fold them forwards rather than back as the base will catch and mark the screen.

I put it on mine but I haven't ridden with it yet though. My left mirror folds back with no issue. The right side just touches the windscreen when I fold it back. A thin piece of cardboard stops it from scraping the windscreen. If you fold them forward there is no issue at all.
This is the same windscreen that comes stock on the R.

I got the Doublebubble Dark Smoke screen. Better wind protection, easy install without removing front fairing, (glued bottom 2 screw caps to screen, works great) and looks great.
New windscreen and Seat was a must to upgrade.

I fitted it but I'm not convinced that it helps on road, I'm 6' and I reckon it throws the wind straight into my helmet but I can't be bothered to swap the OEM screen back to test! For the track or high speed riding there's no question it helps when it the tuck position.

On balance I'd say yes.

-- look at Zero Gravity - i haven't done enough homework to know how the DP screen lines up profile wise as compared to any of the Zero Gravity ones, but there are enough pictures on their site to be able to see something - i have been using their Corsa screen

-- if you look close at the picture, you can see the differences between their profiles: look at the grey bar across the top of the picture to gauge the height differences - you can see them in greater detail on the web site itself
