base bar end removal

Hi all what have you guys used to remove your bar ends that is one big torque bolt key required

or am i being thick haha

M12 Allen key..... they weigh loads as well

nice one bolds i have some r+g and some progrips to fit just normally pull them out !

The Jap manufacturers would spend 1000's in R&D to shed 0.33kg from their latest gen Fire1ZGSXR.

I Ride: Daytona 675 SE + 1199S ABS
They may be deliberately heavy to provide some mass damping and stop the bars vibrating too much.

I would expect so, the original show bikes had plastic ones so don't think they did it for no reason
