Finally got the call, but not exactly what I wanted at first.

Got a call yesterday from my local dealership. Could it be, finally my 1199S ABS? Short answer was No, however they were calling to inform me that they had 2 1199S non-ABS available, if I wanted to change my order. After about 24 hours of back and forth thought I decided to go ahead and change to the 1199S non-ABS.

So tomorrow by 1:00pm PST I expect to be heading home on my new ride. Can't wait, but i think you could tell thank.

On a side note, I've been a long time lurker on this forum, and just wanted to say Thank You all for the information that's been shared here.

Congratulations DJ!

There are a few of us from the Bay Area on the forum now so we'll definitely have to get together and get the bikes lined up for a group shot.

So anxious for mine to come in.

I think, was I you, I would have changed my mind and taken the non-ABS too. I've practically chewed my fingernails to the bone waiting for my call.

"Sir we may be able to get your bike in faster if you trade it for one of your testicles" Dealer

"Ugghhhhhhh....... Yeah sure why not... I dont need the left one anyways. After my last bike, the heat from the exhaust caused one of them to shrink anyways." Buyer

I wouldn't do it! ABS on this bike works seamless for me so far. I really like having it.

Totally agree ... Looks likes Ducati are issuing the bikes in order of geography, with the bay area last !!!! Meanwhile, my spare room is rapidly filling up with Ducati Performance Parts.

Dude, you're spending over $25,000......get what you WANT, not what you're pressured to settle for.
