I'm trying to download a picture for you guys to see.

Yes, the 1199 Akro full race system fits my 1299 S and seems okay to me. I won't really know until I see a dyno run. I've never owned a Ducati before this so I'm trying to get used to it. Seems awesome to me but again, I've never raced a Ducati so I can only say the system fits, sounds great, and pulls like an ox. Termi systems are awesome. Leo Vinci systems are awesome. I'm just thanking my lucky stars that Melillimoto was kind enough to tell me the 1199 Akro system would fit. But again, there may be a horsepower/torque difference between the new Akro system and the 1199 Akro system. However, if you would've seen my stupid grinning face under the helmet when I was riding you would definitely know I wouldn't know the difference.
I am almost 100% sure that the full Akra for the 1199 is dimensionally/layoutwhise exactly the same as the DP Full Akra for the 1299.

Only difference (from images I saw) is (next to the Logo) the front mounting principle of the cans, but with the respective bracket from the 1199 Full Akra kit it should also fit here on the 1299.

So with same Mapping, both systems should deliver same torque/power on the 1299.

I bought a 2015 1299 Panigale S.

The full Akro race exhaust system from 1199 does fit on the 1299. Melillimoto installed mine.

I ordered Woodcraft rear sets. The right side (brake side) fits, no problem. The left side (shift side) does NOT fit. There is a screw that sticks up vertical on the back side of the frame spar. This area was thickened/gusseted on the 1299 so the Woodcraft won't fit up. Eric Wood will simply need to modify it.

So, it was some good news and some bad news. But, Eric will fix it.
Did you order standard shift sets or GP shift? I wonder if there is a difference? I have the GP shift and I would hate for them not to fit

Ducatiusa.com says the 1199/899 absolutely FIT the 1299 and 1299S so I'm not sure why any other aftermarket wouldnt work on the 1299? Obviously they must mount exactly the same for them to work on the 1199 together, but then not the 1299? Hmm.

Shops are being hush-hush with the compatibilities. It will be up to us (well some of you guys since I don't have a 1299) to confirm fitment.

Someone already said that the Akro race fit on his 1299. On the same breath it was also said the Full Termi will not work. Might be more of the routing of the pipes that will make it "not fit" and rub somewhere. As far as fitment on the cylinder heads, it should be there.

Will the fairing stay and subframe for an 1199 bolt right onto a 1299?

If I want to race the 1299 anytime soon, my only option will probably be to use 1199 bodywork.

I can confirm these with 100% certainty as I've seen in person.

You can remove your 1299/panigale R subframe and front fairing stay and replace with 1199 style and then run your 1199 track fairings on your 2015.

I'd imagine all the hush hush is them wanting you to buy new stuff from them, have them put it on yada yada yada. They just want $$$$.

I'll enjoy doing all the aftermarket installs on my bike!
Thanks from Chaotic

Excellent, thanks for that!

I am hoping 1299 bodywork will be available soon.

But then again, swapping the subframe and fairing stay will drop about 6lbs off the top of the bike, so it might be a better option to go the 1199 subframe/fairing stay/bodywork route.

If you could care less about the "slightly" improved look of the 2015;s i see no reason to not just use your 1199 stuff. save the time and $ from having to get the new stuff that isnt even out yet. While youre at it pickup a carbon front fairing stay as well

Will their be any alignment issues with the air ducts or anything like that when fitting 1199 bodywork to a 1299?

I fitted the Akra Evo full system to my 1299 last week (advertised as 1199/899, part S-D11E1-T) Fits perfectly. A few subtle differences removing the stock system, more of the exhaust is welded rather than held with springs. Heat shield a bugger to remove, had to remove tank and unbolt rear subframe. Needed a couple of new bolts to hold the new muffler bracket in place. Half the price I would have paid through the dealer for the official 1299 full system.

Pretty sure the slip ones are not compatible though, as mentioned by Jogy.
