According to him yes, for 899/1199/1299. The only advantage I can see of buying through DP is the upmap stick and decal on the side. The only thing I'm not certain about is whether the link pipe is the same, it won't be 800 though!

My dealer is European Motorcycles of Pittsburgh. I was told that my 1299s would arrive late April. I need to contact them this week to see if the exhaust is available to order. It was not when I ordered the bike.

The DP Akra link pipe is 60mm up from the 1199's 56mm pipe. But the stock pipes on the 1299 are edit: 60mm also. So even the current Akra slips or full exhaust will fit.

Nice, Yeah I haven't heard when we can buy it. Hope soon. We need to meet up in April after they come in.

That's not correct, the OEM pipes of 1299/1299S are also 60mm (vs. 56mm of 1199).

And according to TJ, the 1299 DP full Akra system also has 60mm:

http://ducati1299.com/ducati-1299/20...-review-5.html

So the full Akra system for the 1199 which also has 60 mm pipes should be mechanically identical to the DP full Akra system for the 1299.

I guess for the Akra slip-on's, the short Y-Connector between cans and flapper valve housing is different between 1199/899 Akra parts and 1299 DP Akra parts as the 1299 has a clamp fix on the pipe and the 1199/899 have flange type Connection with three allen screws....

Correct 60mm for the Akra and OEM 1299 pipes. I typed it to fast.
