I Ride: way too fast to worry about my cholesterol.
I think options like that started back in 1607 when Abraham Lincoln was a car sales person. Good to see the motorcycle industry trying something new... er... else.

Sport pack should be the carbon fiber pack. I don't see any added performance at all in the sport pack despite what it says.

I'm sure that the packages will be nice and expensive too.
Thanks from b9009b and TexRR

Somehow..unless my history memory is way off.. I don't think Lincoln was alive in 1607...or even his grandparents...

BMW lets you configure out the R1200R from a 12k bike to a 17k bike.

they've been doing that for years.

it's called "keeping the accessory cash in the company"

Since I stated it on the internet, its now fact!

My point is more to the fact that this just mimics an option package that you see in the car industry and have done for a long time (since 1607). Tiers and trims. We have tiers with the base and S and ever Pani R. Now a trim option to add on. coughAUDIcouch.

I like it... My sarcasm aside.

Doesn't surprise me at all since this is almost a staple in other industries (automotive, other moto style, even cycling).

Interesting that they are not (at least yet) offering some "performance pack" with the Aka exhaust.
