I find the clutch to be light. I'd also propose that any extra wear and tear internally from using the quickshifter (I don't think there really is) is offset by the decreased wear on the clutch from not using it. If you use the quickshifter all the time your clutch plates should last almost forever.

I personally feel as if the clutch becomes lighter with a shorter lever. Or maybe the lever is some how cammed differently making it feel that way. Either way.. clutch is really not bad

I Ride: '99 m900 city, monster 1100 20th anniv., multistrada pike's peak, BMW r ninet and a 1299 Panigale S
with the 1299, i can't see much reason for using the clutch other than start up and stoplights. up and down auto blipping awesomeness is easy!

I Ride: 2015 Ducati Panigale R & 2016 KTM 350 SXF
The clutch is heavy after a hard 4-5 hour ride or track day but normal rides its fine. Use the quickshifter anyways, its the best factory unit I've ever used. Most are terrible at low revs but the Panigale unit it great. Can't wait to try the new 2015 Panigale quickshifter.
