Probably because they keep selling new bikes to new owners who get the nut kick of a $400 oil change.

Wait until they see the cost of the 10,000 mile service.

No,unless you made the deal when you bought it.

$420 is a rip off for the 600mi service. I'd find a different dealer.

I Ride: 2015 1199R
Mine was $380 - oil/filter (Shell Oil - finally) and a going over of the Ducati check list I posted elsewhere - only thing they found I thought significant was the loose rear sprocket nuts that were not torqued at the factory as a few were loose - aside from that, the oil/filter along with everything else (Ducati check list) was 2hrs labor ($125 per hour) oil was $79, filter $28, tax and done ....certainly fair
