It will be hot and humid from first thing in the morning till last thing at night!

The trick is keeping the engine under 200f

Tough to do in hot temps under 45mph.

Racing radiators is the best way to get the edge on temps your looking for.

No amount of exhaust wrap or shields will help when the motor is cooking

I use my bike almost solely for the track. I don't notice the heat unless it's 85 F or so AND the engine temps are over 200 F. When my lap is up against the tank as it should be if I don't want aching wrists, my lap feels pretty warm on hot track days. It's not distracting because I'm too focused on keeping the rubber side down to notice until I let up. I won't feel the heat if I slide back an inch but it's generally not the best place to be on the track.....guess what happens if you don't lock the wrists and you brake hard at the end of a fast straightaway!

1199 r heat issue

I got my 1199 r without knowing how much heat I have to deal with. It's too much of heat that I almost burned my thighs. I got subframe cover and soon going to wrap as well. I hope it will reduce the issue because I love my bike

Dude, You live in an oven. I have an office and a hangar at the Scottsdale Airpark. I do not go there six months out of the year.If you are riding a Panigale in AZ in the summer in the daylight, you are a brave man. You might as well just get a fire suit. How does the bike not overheat?

Tell me about it... here in Vegas it gets 110-114F during summer time.. I only ride at 7am (around 90F) and its still rough!

My right thigh gets RED if I wear jeans and my mesh jacket! but if I wear my 1 piece suit to go "canyon craving" I don't get as hot.. weird huh?

Yea I cant even imagine owning a bike that is already pushing the thermal limits in a livable climate in Vegas or AZ. Plus wearing the gear. Im out.
Thanks from rrgermanlv

Unfortunately Ducati has lost MANY Panigale sales due to the heat. I know of several .

I can't complain since I live in Sweden but I can imagine in Italy during the summer as many people say this is a track bike that's it
