How To Fix The 1299/1199 Heat Issue

Hey guys,

So I've had my 1299 about a month now and this thing gets insanely hot, which causes the subframe to get to almost blistering temps when you're not cruising on the highway, or hauling ass in general.

I picked up a shift tech carbon sub frame cover and I cannot begin to describe the world of a difference it made.

Here is a quick youtube review I made of it.

Hats off to Shift Tech, that cover is a Godsend.
Thanks from Cobra700, Macattack and Tangor

Guido is awesome and has been taking care of us all for YEARS!
Kinda like this topic.
I know, I know, - it's in the 1299 section so it's a different issue then.
Thanks from bradp51 and Cobra700

I wish they had them in plain black. I'm not a big CF person.

However as I lay on my bed with almost a 2nd degree burn from a 3 hour ride on the highway, yes highway. Something really needs to be done and I don't think an individual should have to spend money to fix this either.
Thanks from forelli
