Rear brake master cylinder/pedal rod adjustment

Does anyone know how much free play I need for the master cylinder to release the pressure? I want to adjust mine after I've adjusted the lever position on my new rearsets (Gia Moto) so it's as tight as possible while still being safe

1.5 to 2mm when pedal operated by hand.
