Brake pad upgrade?

I just found out how long the pads doesn't last, so I had to get new oem pads (I live 500 meters away from the dealer).
But for next time, can someone recommend a better set of pads for a trackday regular? They should also work fair enough for a highway commuter, but I don't need optimum bite from dead cold..

I like the SBS RS pads for track days on a bike that will also be ridden on the street.

I have used EBC HH pads for mine after the OEM's were gone, works fine on street and seemed to survive well on the few track days I attended this year.

Brembos are excellent, but they last one heavy day of tracktime. EBC GPAFX is very good and lasted twice the time of Brembo SC pads. GPAFX is very good also outside the track, have had nothing but positive experience about them in the street as well. I've used them in several bikes along Brembo SC&RC pads, and they're now my favourite pads.

I've used Galfer G1375 pads for years. I like them a lot - the way they initially bite and their longevity.

Just keep in mind that Brembo does not recommend street use for the Z04 pads, they're not designed to work at lower street temperatures so they can chew your rotors up. They're great on the track though, I ran them for several years, only switched to the SBS Dual Sintered pads this year and like them equally as well.
Thanks from Thamer and b9009b
