Yes the micro switch under the clutch lever changes fueling. Wayne Macdonald AKA Tuneboy explained all the detail to me about 2 years ago when I had my bike dyno tuned by him. I posted it all back then but cannot remember all the detail now. As Gecko said, when you can read the parameters from the ECU as Tuneboy can then you can see what is going on.

For now I have just been stretched out beyond my pocket book (or patience) with this bike ..

I love the way it looks and handles but has been nothing but trouble
It will run fairly smooth sometimes intermittently ( by smooth I mean it doesn't act like it is going to die on me and doesn't buck and kick as much) but never really as well as the demonstrators or my friends 1299 I have ridden... Dealer cannot figure it out nd simply says the old "That is just the way it is" line.... I am going to sell it if possible and get a Japanese bike the new Kawasaki ZX10R and the 2017 Suzuki GSXR100R are looking good.

I have had it with "Exotic" bikes" To me "Exotic" means expensive to purchase Expensive to keep up and not dependable I just cant handle the uncertainty of not knowing when it is going to die on me while riding iT takes the fun out of it and the local dealer certainly won't take in on trade and give me even half of what I paid for it a little over a year ago....

Oh well Live and learn....

My 1299 rarely stalls. Sometimes it will hiccup which I know the entire bike turns on and off so quickly you won't really notice unless I had the turn signal on or the highbeams on. When it does the hiccup they all reset/turn off.

Only ever happens when I slow to a stop with the clutch pulled in like everyone else. The hiccup is never consistent though. Some days I'll ride all day long and it behaves perfectly.

1299S Engineering nightmare Bad Reputation

Oh pictures 1299s looking for suggestions on how to have bike replaced wit another new 1299s Ducati has a bad reputation they don't care if they make a bad bike and you get one they have Ducati mechanics that apparently don't give a rats ass about you they are not real people with feelings, whatever Ducati teaches there mechanics is non sense they have a bad reputation it's just smoke and mirrors it's all a hoax. Beauty is only skin deep. Life is short we work hard and smart life is precious we don't want to go through a struggle it's in natural for me to go throughout this grief I'm on the bus it's taking me. 2 hours to get home praise god my bike should be de valued I can't get a shop manua for the 1299s the engineers don't care and are working on new Ducati bikes for more money they are heartless there is nobody out here that cares about my concerns and grievances with a solution to the problem. Call me 323-786-0135

Oh bike is in the shop again at Del Amo Motorsports
Call these people and. Tell them to give me a new bike or fix this bike it's nonsense as long as I make my payments and I ride the bus they don't care about me. This is the new generation they don't care they don't have feeling nags as long as they're world is ok with them fine they appear concerned but that's not getting my bike fixed over and over again time after time at west lake Ducati in Thousand Oaks California https://files.acrobat.com/a/preview/...9-ecb8b7ead58d

This is my 1299 S it's a beautiful bike but how come my bike stops it's a new bike they will laugh you down on a police chase in Los Angeles the cameras will be rolling and the tv helicopters will be on you rear end and boom a Ducati 1299s stops for no reason nobody steels these bikes you can't even make a quick get away bad boys know this. Don't swift lanes or drive splitting lanes in a Ducati 1299s no sir you will get your feelings hurt and will end up in the hospital
