We've already planning to get rid of the Panigale(s) for something much more reliable. It is a shame though the Panigale is the most sexiest bike on Earth.
Did I not read a post today from you talking about getting new CF hugger for your bike. Perhaps a waste of money if you are selling it.

That's the compromise of a low rotating mass, it won't be able to recover from a lean surge. Tuneboy, disable overrrun fuel cut, and give it a bit more up to 2500 rpm and taper off, at 0 and 4% TPS, and you will never have a unintended shut off again

Could you tell me more about Tuneboy I never heard of it before

Are the ECU on our bikes made by Mitsubishi? WTF?? No wonder we are having so many problems !!!!

In Australia Mitsubishi is a joke of the car industry we call it "Bits Are Missing" aka Mitsubishi !!!

Now i know the truth why our Panigales are having so many problems !!!

I've been watching a lot of videos on Tuneboy (never heard of it before) will it void my warranty?

After watching that video i am really interested in buying one.

My question is can i use it on both my bikes or only on one Panigale ???

Have you guys had good experience with your tuneboy?
Thanks from tinus675

Go to Tuneboy website. All the info is there. Happy reading.

Both of my Panigale dies when i pull the clutch !!!
Has anyone read this entire thread? Or is that too hard?

1. Have you changed the clutch lever to an aftermarket lever? If yes, try putting the original back on and see if that makes a difference.

2. Have you tried changing the ENGINE setting to HIGH? No, this isn't code to change to RACE mode. Read you manual and learn how to operate your motorcycle. RACE mode makes other changes to your electronics.

3. Have you set your DWC DUCATI Wheelie Control to a lower setting (1 or 2)

4. Have you tried setting most of the rest of your electronic intervention to the lowest level you are comfortable with?

Originally my Panigale was perfect. No stalling issues whatsoever. I added an Akrapovic slip on and upchip AND new levers at the same time. I ASSUMED the slip on and chip caused the new stalling issues. The dealer couldn't find anything wrong. I tried changing the electronics settings intil I changed my ENGINE setting to HIGH. It has been perfect since and the only stalling has been operator error (rectal cranial impaction) Not only that, but HIGH is really really fun!!!!!! (you know, part of the reason for buying a 205 HP superbike)

What you are saying is if you dont set the bike up this way the ducati will die on you - oh effing great mate really great.

It shouldn't have to die on you if you have different settings - this is Ducati's crap not a user settings fault (that's why we have modes an options right?).

If the bike cant' run in other modes other than what you have prescribed then why do we even have other modes available at all? That was the craziest shit i have ever read. Please eff off with the gay insult like "read the manual" bullshit that shit is old !!!

Anyway my bike is still at the dealership can't even tell you what mode it is on now - the bike has been there almost 4 weeks lol.

FYI: none of my bikes are modded they dont even run properly since new what's the point of modding them? The only thing that's modded are the tail tidy.

One of my problem is the 1299S was bought from another dealership that went bankrupt or was forced to shut its door by Ducati.

All valid points. There are so many possible scenarios if you factor hardware and software. It's not at all surprising that the individuals trained at the dealership level cannot diagnose these issues. The guys who built the components don't even know where to look other than the obvious. The most unfortunate issue is that in certain circumstances this does indeed present a potentially nasty outcome for the rider. Sometimes I guess progress is maybe not so hot. I don't think my Honda has died on me once and it has been through a lifetime of mods and abuse. I like tech but there was something to be said for the ability to tune a motor with an ear and a screwdriver. At least you had a pretty accurate idea of the mechanics. Today it's pretty involved and has all but eliminated the owner from having an intimate knowledge of their machine.

We are too afraid to ride our bikes - i know one day this problem is going to get us killed. When i have to ride a bike it will be the Harley i know i wont die on it !!!

People talk shit about the Harleys but i can tell you i have never ever had any mechanical failure with my Harleys
