Are they aftermarket reservoirs or have you replaced the caps yourself with any?

I had a leak at the clutch master and the fluid went down the side of the head fairing all the way to the cans. They are replacing the front and side fairings as well as reapplying new decals and the TechSpec grip all under warranty.

One month left on factory warranty and then into the extended RPM.

Can't complain about new factory fairings after two years of street riding behind @STW! Only complaint is that I paid to have the no clear coated red panels OptiCoated, but that is relatively so insignificant, I shouldn't have mentioned it.

Everything was standard from factory. Only had 1200klm on the clock.

The thing is, Ducati are not going to fix it, which has left me a bit disappointed.
Sounds like its the dealer who doesn't want to warranty it not Ducati, from what we are seeing on here everyone has had no issues having it replaced regardless of the fault!

Would appear this maybe the case. One would hope not though.

Had my dash replaced under warranty due to small dent from manufacturing. Ducati fitted new dash with exact same Km's, as you said the ECU has it all stored.

For whatever it's worth, my display randomly developed a very small line of dead pixels. It also looked sort of like a hairline scratch right across the middle of the dash. It was replaced under the factory warranty by Ducati and the mileage stayed the same.

My advise is to put some sock over the clutch and brake master reservoir just as racers do... did that since new and never had a mark on my dash...though, I had my dash replaced on my 2012 1199S Tricolore due to severe fogging issues....being a 2012 model my dash odometer mileage was back to Zero with the new dash...

Not a problem really, as I keep my own log book (with Mileage and Dates on repairs/service done by myself and the dealer) and our Ducati Dealer does keep a record in their system as well...keeping your own log book on service lets you know what your next service should be, what and when service was done etc..etc...

So when I sell the bike, next owner can verify actual mileage using my log book and with our Ducati dealer, which is not an issue to me, as I have all my own service records...

Odometer mileage zeroing out shouldn't be an issue really....

My 2015 Panigale 1299 dash also developed a small crack, I guess when I washed the bike some humidity seeped in, and now the dash is fried. Looking for a replacement. Original dash (instrument panel) is part no. 400611161D, superseded by no. 40611162D.

Question: will a cheap used dash that I was lucky to locate from a 2018 1299 R (part no. 40611511A) be compatible with my bike's original ECU?
